We found her sinking into the grass behind a farmhouse — a 1960s Airstream with a cracked window, a raccoon family, and the most beautiful dents we’d ever seen.
It took a year of weekends to bring her back. We stripped her to the ribs, polished every panel by hand until she caught the sun, and built a little espresso bar inside out of reclaimed barn wood. When we finally opened the service window for the first time, a neighbor was already waiting with exact change.
That’s kind of been the story ever since. Most mornings you’ll find us parked at the home lot under the oaks. On weekends we hitch up and follow the road — farmers markets, art walks, weddings in fields a lot like the one where we found her.
